School Facilities

Our school caters for students from Foundation to Grade 6 and is situated north of Ballarat’s central business district. It has the advantage of being large enough to have an excellent range of facilities but small enough to promote a close bond between students and teachers.

The current building is the original building from 1877, the walls can tell stories about the evolution of education from the past to the present.

Outdoors

The outdoor environment is spacious with a wide range of playground equipment to suit children of all age levels. Including:

  • Two large playgrounds.
  • Cubby house.
  • A brand-new synthetic basketball court featuring mega slam basketball hoops.
  • The spacious grassed oval is popular for ball games, running and playing.
  • Undercover sandpit, play area and picnic tables protected from the elements.
  • The large asphalt area surrounding the main building provides a perfect space for minor games.

Indoors

Inside our school, we have 4 classrooms that are embraced by a spacious environment. With our large windows every classroom is bathed in natural light. The vast classroom sizes allow for designated individual and group work areas. Although our belief is to not rely on technology to teach our students, they do have access to the latest technologies. Each classroom is equipped with an interactive TV, Computers and iPads can be accessed for use in classrooms when needed. Our Library has been renovated recently and is well stocked with a variety of books and resources to support our students with their learning experiences. We are well equipped for all specialist classrooms: STEM and Auslan have innovative spaces to promote students' learning and our kitchen boasts a large island bench where students can create a variety of dishes.
